Talented and highly motivated social media specialist required

We’re looking for a talented and highly motivated social media specialist to join our team.

13 June 2024
Talented and highly motivated individual needed to join our marketing team

You’ll be in control of the social media accounts for our (mainly B2B) clients, as well as our own social channels, which means that you’re a skilled wordsmith - able to adopt and develop your writing tone of voice accordingly - and have a knowledge of image editing software (you know the one!).

You are bursting with ideas and have the creative drive to lead imaginative and engaging social campaigns. You should be confident and knowledgeable when talking to customers (business owners), have an eye for detail, and appreciate the numbers behind the activity.

Experience in tracking, reporting, testing, and analysing campaign activity is essential, and you should be able to play a leading role in client meetings and calls.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in similar social media management roles and an understanding of marketing strategy. Proficiency in using marketing tools and social channels is essential, along with some experience using AI-led software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as are excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and a can-do attitude.

In addition, you’ll be supporting our Account Director with day to day client management to ensure we deliver our marketing plans on time and budget. This will include producing and maintaining marketing calendars, creating and delivering monthly or quarterly marketing reports, liaising with our Head of Content and directly with clients to manage workflow.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and deliver excellence are crucial. English should be your first language and, whilst not essential, a marketing degree in Communication, Marketing, or Social Media, along with agency and project management experience, is preferred.

This is a full time hybrid role combining working remotely with 2 days in our Huddersfield office.

Salary: circa £33,000 per annum dependent on experience and fit.

A bit about us.

Applied is a well-established business with a strong track record of delivering exceptional quality and success for our clients. We are an experienced and ambitious team of creatives, marketers and developers, who push for originality and to exceed expectations.

We’re also really friendly and put a huge emphasis on making sure we are all looked after, supported and above all happy!

Why should you Applied?

We offer a competitive salary, starting with a holiday allowance of 31 days per year (pro-rata), including bank holidays, plus an extra day for your birthday. After two years of service, additional holiday is allocated annually, up to a maximum of 40 days (including bank holidays).

Other benefits include a company pension scheme, flexible working arrangements with two days a week in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and the option for more if preferred, and a supportive, collaborative team. You will work with great clients on exciting projects, have access to dedicated office space and professional development time, enjoy team social outings, and benefit from free on-site parking and discounted lunches.

There’s lots more great stuff going on at Applied, especially in this our 25th year in business, and you can be part of it if you join the team, so if this role and the company sounds like your dream job, then please send your CV and covering letter to hello@applieddigital.co.uk.
